Visual COBOL for Eclipse can be installed under Windows, RedHat Linux or SUSE Linux. Each has its own installer package so you must download the correct one for your requirements. Visual COBOL development on other Unix variants like AIX and Solaris can be done using the Development Hub product installed on the Unix box which can then be accessed remotely using the Visual COBOL Eclipse IDE installed on Windows or Linux.
